We opened Salon La Terre in 1996, with a commitment to the people we serve and the planet we live on. All packed into a comfortable, fun environment where people can come and receive quality hair services.

From the start we have carefully chosen our product lines, services and ways of operation. All of these are based on shared values of providing the highest quality hair care in an environment that consistently considers the environment and current styles.

We also believe in building the community through our ongoing contributions to causes such as: The Green Institute, Harriett Tubman Women’s Center, Minneapolis Humane Society, Open Arms and many others.

We operate the business with the following in mind:  energy conservation, a comprehensive recycling program, and the usage of post- consumer paper products.
